Hello there!

I’m a 7th year elementary librarian with a small city school district in Central New York State. I have served on both the district technology and assistive technology committees as well as the district literacy committee and served as a council representative for our local school library system. Currently, I’m on our school library system’s Battle of the Books committee, the acting Vice-President of our local school librarians affiliate as well as a Region Representative on the NYLA-SSL board. Recently, I challenged myself to not only read more, but to try writing reviews for the books I read.

I’m a dog lover, part-time yogi, coffee fan girl and ardent lifelong learner who strives daily to crush librarian stereotypes (except that one about the cardigans-I love a good cardigan). I also believe the best learning happens when we are having fun and my greatest wish is to never hear the words “This is a library so you need to be quiet” said in my room ever again.
